(Life) First Post

This is my first post on this blog. I’m sure anyone who has made a blog before has felt strange, especially about their first post. All I can think about is “who the hell is going to read this?”. I mean, it is just me shouting into the void but, the void is just the internet and shouting is just me frantically typing on my keyboard. I’m still trying to figure out what I want this blog to be. Is it just film reviews? Is it a recollection of my thoughts? Is it some kind of hipster coffee shop blog where I talk about my life being so sad while sipping on a $7 coffee…God, I hope not. 

There are details that need to be worked out but, you must start somewhere. I learned a while ago about the toolbox fallacy. It's a fallacy where you keep creating excuses for why you can’t do something. A good example is, “I can’t start my blog because I have yet to figure out what kind of font I want to use”. This enables the mechanic (me) to not have to do the job because they do not have the right “tool” for their "job". But seriously, is Signika the font I want to use? 

It's all a learning process, and I want to share what I learn through this blog. I at least know my posts will vary from being "life" posts to being "film" posts. I try to tie any life lessons I learn back to films I have seen. I, just like Benjamin Button, have a lot of growing to do.
